At Trattoria Alberobello, it is important to use fresh, seasonal ingredients of the best quality. Much is also imported directly from Italy to make it as authentic Italian as possible. The pizza dough is made by hand every day, for example it consists of an imported Italian durum wheat flour specially adapted for just pizza. The traditional Italian food with a modern dispute, combined with the authentic Italian pizzas, is something appreciated by the little trattorian in Stenungsund. We always work with menus that are seasonal to get the best ingredients tailored to the season. The wines and all our beers are of course also from Italy.
Alberobello is a small town in the region of Apulia, in southern Italy. There are the characteristic Trullo houses, and you can only find them there. Several thousand year old stone houses with the characteristic cones as a roof. It is in this region that the owner and cook Daniele is born and raised. Daniele has always worked as a chef and really has the Italian cuisine as his passion. He has many years of working as a cook, around Italy, and then in some nice taverns in London and Sydney Australia. Because of his family, he moved to Sweden, to open his own Trattoria.
